PALMAROSA (MADAGASCAR) CYMBOPOGON MARTINI-GRAMINACEAE
An aromatic grass, which grows in tropical climates, similar in properties as Citronella and Lemongrass. The Essential Oil, distilled from the flowers and leaves of this Palmarosa grass is also known as Turkish Geranium and Indian Geranium.
PRINCIPAL CONSTITUENTS: Geraniol; citronellol, farnesol and esters.

ANECDOTAL INFORMATION: The smell of Palmarosa resembles Geranium Rose, and works well as a fixative for perfume blends.
